Analog decoder implementation
Summary: Iteratively decodable FEC codes such as turbo, LDPC, and product codes can be elegantly implemented using analog circuitry. Such an implementation consumes much less power than a digital implementation.
People: Valenti
Partners: Motorola
Open Problems:

An actual analog implementation (using discrete components) of a simple turbo product code
Multidimensional product codes: 3-D and beyond.
